Since the launch of Dear Producer in 2018, I have received several emails a week from producers asking specific questions about how to get their film made or needing advice on their career. Most who inquire are very respectful and offer to pay me for my time, but I haven’t had the bandwidth to manage a high volume of one-off consulting. So, as a way to answer the demand for individual advice, I’m testing a new initiative I’m calling ASK ME ANYTHING.
ASK ME ANYTHING is a group consulting forum created to answer specific questions filmmakers have about their projects and career.
10 filmmakers will participate in a Zoom session with me with each participant allotted 10 minutes to ask their specific question and receive advice. Each participant will join for the entire session, listening in on all the questions asked by participants, allowing for an opportunity to learn about a wide range of topics and build community. The session will not be recorded in order to provide a safe space for open dialogue.
ASK ME ANYTHING will cost $50 per person and two sessions are available on a first-come basis: Sunday, February 27 @ 9am PT / 12pm ET OR @ 4pm PT / 7pm ET
Please block our 1 hour and 45mins for the session.
Participants will present their question at the session. Do not send questions or materials to review in advance.
If all goes well, I will set up more sessions and potentially pull in other producers to join me!
