Having made a dozen short films while attending Columbia University, producer Sarah Seulki Oh has shot films all over the world, including in the U.K., Turkey, Germany and Korea. We spoke to Sarah about maintaining relationships with college collaborators, how she transitioned her shorts resume into her first feature film, the horror-comedy PORNO, which premiered at SXSW 2019, and how if you read her childhood diaries, you’ll see that she always wanted to be a storyteller.
Sarah Seulki Oh is an independent producer who has produced narrative and documentary films in Amsterdam, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, Korea, Turkey, U.K., and the U.S. Her films have shown at film festivals including Telluride Film Festival, SXSW, Palm Springs International ShortFest, BFI London Film Festival and Raindance Film Festival, and have been supported by Sundance Film Institute, Biennale College Cinema, Tribeca Film Institute, Film London, Sarajevo CineLink, Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, ESPN and HBO. She is a graduate of the Creative Producing MFA program at Columbia University, New York where she now teaches.
